City council to open new term with public works push
At a 1904 special meeting the city officials retired the old regime and welcomed Mayor elect Edwards and Councilman elect Tay lor. They discussed street improvements, petition for College street grading, and lights at River Sixth and Wynooski Fifth. A charter extension and referendum measures were proposed, and a street crossing assessment plan outlined.
