Ed Edwards elected superintendent of the electric light plant. Oliver VanOose chosen as electrician. New lighting plan to overhaul the system. Edwards to spend one day weekly in county seat. Mack: Newberg visitors include J R Knodell and D C Latourette aiding reform efforts. The New Years gathering at Crater’s hall featured Eleanor Satchwell Minnesota poem and strong oratory led by H A Grafe and Joseph Hall.
