Hoskins Appointed County Treasurer to Fill Unexpired Term
Cecil J. Hoskins was appointed by the county commissioners to fill the unexpired term of Harrison Foster as county treasurer. The change in law requires taxes to be received and receipted by the treasurer rather than the sheriff. Hoskins, a Newberg native and Pacific College 1907 graduate, will assume duties at the start of the new year.
