Newberg church services outline morning and evening themes with sessions and a Sunday school officers meeting. Rev O C Wright to occupy Baptist pulpit Sunday morning. Nazarene Church meetings moved to a hall with O F Goettel pastor and H C Dixon superintendent. Sabbath school at 9 45 with all ages, morning worship at 11, evangelistic service at 7 45 and a message on The Master is come and waiteth for thee.. Services include special singing and a general welcome.

On August 25 in Grant County Indiana Axum Newby and his wife marked fifty years of marriage with a noon feast at their Newberg area home.
