Barnes of Salem arranged a $100000 deal to bond the Black Eagle mine and sink a new shaft with new machinery. The company, largely Albany and Newberg stockholders, leased in 1914 and 1915 and now will liquidate at lease end. Assays show copper ore with gold silver and zinc traces amid hopes for full development.
