Elmer and Elzie Hollingsworth moved to Lake County to prospect land. King & Bennett Hardware Co sold ninety barrels of spray material this season. I A Hanning sold his store interest to J H Wilson and the firm is now J H Wilson & Son. Twin brothers W P Henley and R B Henley with wives visited Indiana locals and praised the Northwest as a place for young people. A May 16 athletic meet at the county high schools on the Newberg college campus is expected to attract large crowds from McMinnville Dayton La Fayette and Newberg. Dayton and La Fayette boast of a possible top placing. Gratitude is extended to those who offered sympathy after a bereavement. Mrs Hattie Haskin and family. Mrs Richardson has been ill. S L Parrett visited Willamina. Ed Dugan learned his grandmother Mrs Hodson had died. William Wilson sold his Dundee place to Mr Weber and his family moved into the Hagey house. Mrs Milton Yager is seriously ill. Mr and Mrs E A McC have gone to Salem for a two week visit.

Frank M. Haskin born 1868 Ohio came to Oregon 1879 lived in the state until his death March 25 1908. He left a widow two sons Dale M 18 and Frank L 16 and an elderly mother. Funeral services were held at the M E church conducted by Pastor C L Hamilton.
