Delegates Visit Insane Hospital at St Peter Minnesota
Delegates from the Conference of Corrections and Charities and residents of New Ulm visited the insane hospital at St Peter discussing ward conditions, patient treatment and admission practices. They toured nurses homes, TB wards, detention facilities and main buildings, noting patient activity, dining arrangements and the use of restraint. New Ulm Booster Tour Draws Fifty Shy Of Crowds
A New Ulm Commercial Club booster tour to Redwood Falls drew about one hundred participants in twenty three cars. The five county circuit included Essig Evan Morgan Redwood Falls Morton Fairfax Gibbon Winthrop Lafayette Klossner with Second Regiment Band. The party toured eleven towns with parades, band music and a stop at Ramsey State Park led by Chas Vogtel and Mayor Luscher, while A W Bingham sought shade on sidewalks.

Pleasant Moor hosts 18th Sons of Hermann outing in cold weather
The weather did not deter a large crowd for the Sons of Hermann event in Pleasant Moor. An estimated 300 arrived by train from the Twin Cities, with 500 to 1,000 at Hermann's Heights and possibly 1,500 at the park during the afternoon. Mayor Fritsche welcomed attendees, with a key speech by Julius Moersch. Liederkranz members from Minneapolis joined, and a Kommers at Turner Hall followed, stirring effort to revive a male chorus in New Ulm. A. Z. Mueller guided city tours, showcasing local sights.
