Springfield youth sentenced to reformatory for theft
Korman Lockway, 18, of Springfield, was sent to the state reformatory at Saint Cloud for up to two years after confessing to stealing $88.75 from Frank Barberieri's Springfield soft drink parlor. The theft occurred overnight September 11 through the rear door, and a half dollar from 1810 was later recovered. The case was prosecuted by County Attorney W. T. Stein with Judge T. M. Oleen presiding.

Minnesota inspectors report progress in guarding buyers from misbranded feed. Since enforcement began last fall, 2,049,500 pounds of feed were removed from sale.
