Seven Year Old Boy Hurt In Street Accident
Raymond Brsenke aged seven was struck by a buggy wheel on Minnesota Street in front of the Ottomeyer Store. He suffered a broken right leg above the knee and facial and shoulder bruises. He was treated by Dr. C J Seifert and returned home with his mother after the injury.

Dangerous narrowing on new Ulm road near Courtland

The Brown County fair drew an estimated 3500 to 4000 on day one and about 2500 on day two. Receipts were 924 and 400.90 respectively, with total near 350 less than last year. Circ leapfrogged by Ringling Bros. reduced attendance from outside districts. races drew crowds with close heats and multiple trotting and pacing winners led by Ruby L and Wiggin's Lass.
