Methodists Celebrate Fiftieth Anniversary in New Ulm
A hundred year old German Methodist congregations in New Ulm and Lafayette township marked their 50th founding anniversary with three days of services at Rev. Sauter's church. Bishop J. J. Nuelson of Omaha delivered the jubilee address, with prominent figures Rev. Singenstrue and Rev. Bauer noted among early members. The observance honored founding pastor Rev. H Siegenstrue and included gatherings of original members and current attendees, highlighting half a century of growth and current prosperity.
