Stolen Car Recovered After County Jail Arrests
A Ford stolen from Erie Illinois on August 28 was recovered and returned to the owner after three men were arrested in St. Paul for a Comfrey store robbery. A license issued September 6 in St. Paul bore the name W. A. Anderson with a Wisconsin residence, possibly tied to James Burvies, one of the jailed suspects.

Former New Ulm Boy Accused of Auto Theft
Deputy Sheriff Bert L. Morris of Waukesha county Wisconsin arrived here Saturday night and departed Sunday with Charles Wieland formerly of New Ulm for Oconomowoc where he faces burglary charges. Wieland and a companion alleged to have stolen an automobile from a garage last June after forcing entry with a Yale lock. The auto was recovered. Wieland's partner is awaiting trial. Wieland was found with a loaded revolver and love letters in his jail locker.
