Bank Embezzler Nabbed in Wisconsin After Dodson Theft
John McGuiggan, former cashier of the Farmers & Merchants State Bank of Dodson, is indicted for first degree larceny for $600 of bank funds. Arrested in Verona, Wisconsin, he was brought back by Deputy Shetty Wm H Gieseke and Deputy Herman Jahnke, jailed locally. The case arose after a Mountain Lake bondsman, John P F Penheiter, sought $600 he believed he lent to the bank and never recovered it.
