Ottomeyer's announces a sale starting next Monday May 14 with a line of Dimity Organdy Lawn and Gingham at 5 cents per yard, previously 7 to 18 cents. A second line of fine summer goods at 10 cents per yard, once higher priced, and a general reduction sale on summer dress goods.
Seckar Post No 49 G A R will organize Memorial Day events in New Ulm with a parade at 9 30 a m from Turner Hall to North German Park and graveside decor for Civil War and Spanish American War veterans. Department Commander Ives of St Peter is to speak. a German speaker will be secured. Hecker Post No 48 G A T sets arrangements with a goal of a fitting observance. roster lists many post members.
