Last Saturday marked the th anniversary of Mr and Mrs John Heymanns wedding. Mrs Heymann has been in poor health for months prompting a family gathering and a sumptuous dinner at the Heymann home. The couple, born in 1873 and 1837 respectively, married in 1862 and moved to America, first stopping in Cleveland then settling near New Ulm after 1847. They raised eleven children, six living, with several family members attending the celebration.

District Court of Nicollet County reports motorists from New Ulm and vicinity dissolve the old Auto Association to form the New Ulm Auto Club led by B. G. Hage as president. A board of governors, 29 signers, and plans to buy five road drags from Anutin-Western Company mark a broad road improvement push with meetings to follow. Members urged including farmers and auto owners to join at a $5 fee to advance road conditions and cooperation for better roads in the district.

The New Ulm Rural Telephone company held its annual meeting at Bedell's Hall on Thursday with good attendance and sentiment. Deputy Internal Revenue Collector W L Humason announced the transfer of the revenue office from Mankato to New Ulm. The move is set for the latter part of the week with temporary quarters at Charles Brust Sr home on Broadway due to lack of space in the post office building.
