Tragic Auto Truck Death Near Albin Creamery
John Bezold aged nineteen was killed when his auto truck overturned near the Albin creamery on Thursday April 29 at about 8 30. He lost control, the vehicle pinned him, and despite help from Andrew Schropfer Peter Sweum and Wm Groebner death was caused by concussion of the brain. Funeral services were held at St Marys Church.

Nicollet County Court Opens With Short May Term

Burglary at Gibbon Targets W Fried Sons Store
Robbers broke into the W Fried & Sons store in Gibbon last Wednesday night, stealing silks, jewelry, cutlery, and small articles. They left about 86 in change and $50 in cash. the cash in the safe remained, but the safe was accidentally locked by the burglars. Loss estimated at 250 to 300 dollars with no clues yet for arrest.
