Turners in State Meeting Sets 42nd Session in St Paul
The Minnesota Turnbezirk held its forty second annual gathering in St Paul with about sixty delegates. Captain Albert Steinhauser of New Ulm was chosen to preside and reports show nearly 1,600 total members and over 1,800 gymnastic class enrollments. Delegates to the Chicago national Turner convention were elected and an executive committee named. A motion to send a district class to Davenport’s kreisturnfest passed by near unanimity.
