The city clerk of New Ulm Minnesota invites sealed proposals for street sprinkling on Broadway State and Washington streets. Bids may cover all or part of the work with blanks supplied by the clerk. A $100 certified check accompanies each bid as liquidated damages if the bidder fails to enter a contract and furnish a satisfactory bond within three days of acceptance.

Golden Gale and George Miller of Sleepy Eye were guests of brother Wilson Bus born on Friday February 28 to Mr and Mrs Oreo McCoy. Nearby residents attended the Mioatrel Show in Sleepy Eye and Miss Elian Robertsau visited Evan friends. Dr Wellcome of Beeps Eye made a professional call Saturday. Henry Battig visited Fairfax Saturday. Chas Hopfensperger of Sleepy Eye spent the week at Edward McLowan’s home. Byron Burghardt and wife returned to Bird Talend after a 10 week visit. A large crowd attended the Walker Dresser auction near Fairfax Monday. Fred Grabow and wife hosted friends Sunday. A cold la grippe then pneumonia is warned by Dr G Collins of Barnegat New Jersey and Folsy’s Honey and Tar is endorsed.
Tuesday evening party at the Courtland home of Gus tav Krueger featured refreshments and a cheerful crowd. Local visitors included Hernan Meyer of Gibbon Otto Sommers and Miss Leos Struss with several business and transfer notes of the period.
