Bohemian lace collection from New Ulm locals shipped to St Paul for the Minnesota Art Society display. Mrs. Alwin organized about 100 patterns, with pieces loaned or owned by individuals. Cyrus Northrop presided at opening. The exhibit runs April 14 to 24 with regional painters featured and a Turner Hall concert planned by the Maennerchor next month.

Architect Schippel proposes a one story 40 by 70 foot building with 400 seating, two large classrooms and eight practice rooms, movable doors to join the auditorium, estimated cost 10 thousand dollars. A joint session of the plenary committee and trustees is set for April 14 to finalize wiring plumbing heating and related work.

New Western Union Night Letters Begin In New Ulm
New Western Union introduces a night letter service from New Ulm under a new scheme. A fifty word telegram costs the day rate for ten words, plus 0.2 of the daily rate for each extra ten words. A sixty word night letter to a 60 cent day rate costs 75 cents. sixty seven words cost 84 cents. The service uses idle night equipment from 6 p m to 6 a m and will run for about three months before further announcements.
