Dead body of young man found near Minneapolis
A man found dead near Cahill ten miles from Minneapolis is believed to have died by his own hand. The body bore a rope around the neck and showed advanced decomposition. A draft registration card reading Carl Wolf finger New Ulm was found in his coat pocket. Bert Morton, morgue keeper, transported the body to Minneapolis.

Medical examiner named for War Risk Insurance
Dr. O. J. Seifert was appointed medical examiner for the Bureau of War Risk Insurance by the federal government. He will assess disabled ex service men, handle compensation claims, and reexamine for government insurance in the New Ulm district. The service is free to the men. Amendment discussion highlights good roads proposal in Minnesota
