Turners Fest At New Ulm Draws Hundreds For Contests
The New Ulm Turnvereine hosted a week long festival with hundreds of Turners from Duluth, St Paul, and Minneapolis. West Minneapolis won team prizes while Germania St Paul took second and New Ulm third. Individual honors went to Adolph Stamwitz and Herman Grunau among others as crowds cheered rope climbing jumping and weight lifting events.
