Eugene A. Pfefferle Dies in New Ulm After Illness
Eugene A. Pfefferle known as R. A. Pfefferle in New Ulm died Tuesday morning at 7:45 after a several month illness. Retired from the drug business, he sold his store to Rudi Schmuker and Otto Burk recently. A respected citizen, he leaves a sorrowing wife and children and was mourned as a jovial, helpful neighbor.

William Aab to be Manufacturer of low cost re boring machine
William Aab former partner at Mueller and Aab proposes to manufacture a cylinder re boring machine for cars and motors. The device costs about 150 dollars, far cheaper than existing 600 to 1000 dollar models, and can be operated by unskilled workers. New Ulm Plans Dual Homecoming for Junior Pioneers and Soldiers
The New Ulm homecoming committee met to launch a twofold celebration in August. Plans call for a Junior Pioneers welcome, a soldiers’ day with a parade, a launch program led by John Lind, a banquet for veterans, and park concerts with a citywide pageant atmosphere. Major Albert Pinender chairs the committee with Exmsk Wicherski as secretary and Carl Manderfeld as treasurer.
