Memorial Day observance in New Ulm featured a grand parade led by Company A and the 24 Regiment band, with banners, a German address by Captain Steinhauser, and an English tribute by Lt. Albert Pflaender. Civilians, including schoolchildren, attended services at the cemetery, followed by meals at Turner Hall and city council hospitality. The day closed with a successful minstrel show supporting August celebrations and local cultural efforts.
