An old time retail ad touts washable sailor suits age 2 to 10 priced 59 cents to 1.25, Fauntleroy blouses, summer wear for men, Bon Bon underwear at 1.00 per suit, straw hats around 50 cents, and boys knee pants 15 cents to 1.00. The store promises bargains and a wide selection with durable construction features.
A dry goods note highlights a large assortment of summer dress fabrics including Organdies Limities Lace De Legant Jacquard Swiss Lappet Mull Valencia Jaconet Tulle Chatelaine and more. Silk mittens and gloves priced at 15 cents are promoted as best value. Fancy parasols in four lines black and colored target ladies and children along with ready made ladies wrappers in stock.
New Ulm observed Memorial Day with a parade despite rain delays, featuring military units, student participants, and carriages. At the cemetery Vice Commander Marschner introduced speakers and read Lincoln's Gettysburg Address, followed by English and German addresses by Prof Schaller and Dr Gustav Fischer, with salutes by Anna Burg's Battery.

The Minnesota Supreme Court on Wednesday affirmed the verdict in the Charles Klotz administrator versus Winona and St. Peter Railroad Co. suit.
