Sudden Death of John E Bullert at Anton Bartel’s Place
John E Bullert, about 32 and single, collapsed after dinner at Anton Bartel’s Sunday night and died of heart paralysis. Dr Fritsche and Dr Schoch attended but could not help. Weather area wide brought heavy rains and destructive winds from Chippewa county eastward into Wisconsin with hail damaging crops in Renville and Stearns counties. Heat remained above 90 degrees in southern areas daily except the 29th, near 100 on the 24th 26th and 27th.
