Proprieter of Nursery Dead After Cancer Fight
John Zeller, longtime nursery and fruit farm owner in the southern city hills, died unexpectedly last Wednesday from liver cancer. A resident since 1894 except for three years in Winthrop, he left a large family of eleven grown children. Funeral at Turner Hall with Capt Albert Steinhauser preaching, service conducted by the Sons of Hermann and Other lodge members. Burial in the city cemetery.
