Convention Days in Mankato Prompt Joint Sessions

The Southern Minnesota teachers association and the Conference of State Charities and Corrections joined with the State Association of County Commissioners in Mankato for sessions Saturday through Tuesday. Leaders included A Eckstein and Dr Mankato with talks on compulsory education supervision and youth, highlighting the county system debate and a large turnout. The conference elected officers and planned next meetings in Crookston and St Paul with a special county commissioner turnout noted.
