Funeral of Raymond Gruetzmacher Lands Local Attention
Rev and Mrs G Hohn returned from Minneapolis after attending the funeral of Raymond Gruetzmacher a 22 year old son of Mr and Mrs Charles Gruetzmacher of Minneapolis. He died after cancer spread from a leg amputation following exploratory operations. He had appeared in University Lyceum plays in New Ulm and traveled with Mr Hohn before his illness.

Rev J H Naumann Dies Sudden in St Paul At 50
Funeral set for Thursday after sudden apoplexy struck Rev Justus H Naumann president of the Evangelical Lutheran Synod of Minnesota and Dr Martin Luther College director. He served as board chair for over four years and was active in church work with postings across Wolsey Gibbon Wood Lake and Goodhue. He leaves a wife and three children. The body will be taken to Wood Lake for burial.
