Mrs. Mary Jensen of Redwood County suffered leg fractures beneath the knees after being struck by a switch engine near Med St L while returning from Courtland with Mrs. Mary Hansen and Mrs. Predrika Ley. The three were muffled by wraps in smoke and steam, delaying sight of the approaching train. the other two escaped unharmed. Jensen was hospitalized and is recovering after fractures were reset. Death of Mrs. Josephine Mueller in New Ulm
Mrs Josephine Mueller died after a long illness at age 59 in New Ulm. Born in 1839 in Rothweil am Nea r Germany, she came to America in 1848, married G Andre in 1857, moved to Minnesota, then to New Ulm. Widowed twice, she leaves a daughter Bertha Andre and a son Herman Mueller who died earlier. Funeral held at Turner Hall and city cemetery with Allert Stein as speaker. community offers sympathy.
