Dennis Warrell Dies in New Ulm Hotel
Dennis Warrell, aged about sixty six, died after a lingering illness at the North Western Hotel in New Ulm on Sunday at about 10 o'clock. An early Bandon resident, he once owned the Reardon farm there and was well known among local settlers. He was an uncle to the Farrells, Learys, and Desmonds of Birch Cooley. His body was brought back to Birch Cooley on Tuesday, laid at Jas Leavy’s home, with funeral services Wednesday at Sareed Heart church conducted by Father J. J. Woods. He was interred at the old Birch Cooley cemetery after a large gathering of relatives and friends attended.
