Crone Bros advertise a large display of fancy crockery and glassware suitable for Christmas. They invite everyone to call in and inspect stock, noting that new tariff law affected prices but they secured goods at low figures and offer them at favorable prices.
An advertisement lists 6 inch vases with gold band, olive chinaware, mugs, creamers, and dishes priced from 10 to 20 cents. Fancy china and glassware includes creamers, sugar sets, cups and saucers, trays, and pots offered well below real value.
An assortment of plain and fancy glass lamps including hand lamps, decorated lamps, table lamps, vase lamps and hanging lamps is advertised for Christmas. Prices range from 20 cents for plain hand lamps to 81.50 for hanging lamps, with decorated and fancy options priced accordingly.
The Winter offer features overshoes socks and warm footwear to save doctor bills. Prices include men's wool boots 76 cents, boys wool boots 60 cents, men's overshoes 1.25 dollars, women's overshoes 1.00, slippers from 30 to 60 cents, and German socks 44 cents. The 20th annual convention of the Minnesota Dairymen's Association opened at Turner Hall with President J Ames in charge. Delegates and guests attended though local farmer turnout was light.
