A German Methodist Church ceremony united Miss Anos Schmidt and Groom Sendmann, with a reception at Dr G F Heineke’s Center Street home and guests from Waseca, Minneapolis, St Paul, and Burkhardt Wisconsin. A County Commoners meeting is planned for August 17 at the Court House.

The Ladies Auxiliary executive committee sought refreshments for a reunion picnic of pioneers defenders and junior pioneers and assigned committees for quarters and housing needs. John H. Siegel said invitations to regional automobile clubs were going out and $1900 was allocated for prizes plus a band at German Park after the parade. Negotiations with the Morton Agency Indians continued for a start time as Brown County Agricultural Society offered $100 to exhibit an aeroplane, with fights on the fair grounds if arranged, while aviators were being courted for air displays. Advertising funds of $100 were set aside. posters were distributed to about 50 nearby towns. Historic Spots panel reported arrival of tables to be set up this week. German Day badges were proposed for sale. Continued on page four.
