Sioux Trail Association Plans Fort Ridgely Meeting
The Sioux Historical Trail Association will meet August 22, 1919 at Fort Ridgely State Park in Renville County Minnesota at 1 PM to complete organization elect officers and review business. Redwood Falls and Courtland may send delegates as announced by secretary A P Winter. The group aims to promote a marked Sioux Historic Trail through Minnesota and Red River valley, preserving early settlement sites along river valleys.

Pupil attendance dips in county report
The county annual report by R B Kennedy shows total school age children 4 286 in Browns County in 1919 1920 down from 4 315 last year. Boy and girl totals are close 2 146 in high and graded schools 1 026 boys 1 120 girls. rural and semi graded districts 2 090 pupils 1 095 boys 995 girls. Teachers wages rose for both male and female staff average 149 and 79 dollars monthly. rural female teachers rose to 63 from 55. Library use remains high with 26 902 books checked out.
