New Court House Drama Ends In Boone County Settlement
In Lebanon the final act of the Boone county court house drama saw a mutual release and settlement of claims. Architects Bell and Taylor were paid 1200 after seeking 7000, with Elliott and Elliott allowed 350 from an original 520, Smith and Kourbley 250 from 500, Kane and Kane 200 after a 300 filing, C M Zion 450 from 1000, and H C Ulen 450 plus 25 expenses for deposition. Attorneys’ total originally claimed 3845. final agreed sum 1700. Commissioner Caldwell supported the board in approving the agreed allowances.
