County land sells at low prices in delinquent tax sale
Payette district held a sale Monday with $1 bids common for delinquent parcels. Fifteen sewer district lots in New Plymouth were among the properties, many taxes tied to sewer construction. Glenn Darnall bought two lots for 181 dollars and Dr Drysdale one for 66 dollars, while the town bid in the rest. If not bid in, 1920 taxes would be lost. funds will return to New Plymouth, and the town holds 12 sellable lots for future use, with sale possible only at a special election.

Fred Knight Dies From Gun Shot in Kelso Washington
Fred Knight was killed April 29 in Kelso by the discharge of a shotgun as he returned to a recently purchased garage. He had come from Minetta to work as a contractor with Scheiber and Knight, and several local houses were built by their firm. Survived by wife, son Sydney, daughter Mrs. Rachel Stinson, painter Martha Knight, deputy state treasurer at Boise, and brother Grover of Caldwell.

Mrs Corbin of Nyssa Dies Suddenly
Mrs Corbin of Nyssa mother of Mrs Herbert Cole was brought to New Plymouth Saturday in serious condition. Relatives were called to her bedside Tuesday. She died suddenly Wednesday morning of heart failure. The body was taken to Nyssa for burial.
