Death of Dr J McC Dickson Former Warner Hospital Chief Surgeon
Dr John McCrea Dickson 50 longtime Gettysburg physician and chief surgeon at Warner hospital from 1921 until ill health forced retirement last year died Friday at home after a cerebral hemorrhage suffered the previous September. He served in World War I medical corps and donated 220 surgical pieces valued near 9000 dollars in June. Survived by widow Marion Ball son Harrison and siblings J Allen Dickson Orianna R D Joseph C Dickson Martha C Dickson. Funeral Monday 2 pm at West Broadway home.
