Sheriff’s deeds file largest batch at one time
Nine sheriff's deeds representing as many forced sales were filed in the register and recorder office on Thursday. The parcels total 1383 acres in Adams county with a combined $51,850 in consideration and about $37 per acre. Buyers include Myra E. Rodgers, H. V. Morgan, John Welty, John Kimble, Cora B. Eckert, and J. C. and F. H. Bream, with possession given April 27. The deeds cover Straban, Oxford, Latimore, Butler, Hamilton, and Tyrone townships.
