Charles W Wolf a Gettysburg attorney and former War Department attorney now serving as legal adviser to the United States Air Forces in Europe, arrived in New York aboard the Queen Mary for a 30 day leave with his parents. He previously practiced law in Gettysburg and left his Baltimore street office in 1942 to join the military, returning from Germany after discharge in 1947. State police charged John H. Rudisill with permitting an unlicensed operator to drive his automobile. A ten day notice will be sent. The alleged incident involved Ervin Vincent Smith, of Plainville Connecticut, driving Rudisill’s car Thursday night. Smith received one day in jail for driving without a license and one day for disorderly conduct.
