State Senator John S. Rice of Arendtsville and George D. Sheely of Oxford township led a large Adams county Tax Justice league meeting at the courthouse. Rice explained how a Harrisburg bill moves through the legislature and answered questions. Sheely, a former Adams assemblyman, spoke on rising government costs since 1914. Membership rose to over 1,600.

Ralph E. Rudisill son of Mr and Mrs S J Rudisill Hanover was admitted to the York county bar on Monday. A native of Hanover he graduated from Gettysburg College and the University of Pittsburgh. He served nine years as Fayette county school superintendent and recently practiced law with offices in Uniontown. He will partner with his brother Harold B Rudisill as Rudisill and Rudisill.

Injured In Route Crash Near Hanover
A car carrying four people veered off York Road near York-Hanover and struck a tree at 10:50 PM. Joseph Miller 18 driver suffered a fractured leg and scalp lacerations. Mark Groft 22 received facial and eye injuries and a fractured rib. Miss Mac Pittinger 18 and Robert Whaler 19 suffered facial lacerations and a broken collarbone. All were taken to Hanover General Hospital. Groft and Pittinger later discharged. Patrolman Gerald Sweeney investigated. driver lost control as it passed Western Maryland railroad tracks. Car totaled.
