At a special Tuesday meeting in the borough office the Board of Directors of One corporation and Chamber officials discussed securing a state charter to borrow industrial funds for building and attracting industry. Fred Klunk outlined the process and praised the Chamber for its Industrial and Community Directory now in distribution. The next board meeting is set for Tuesday, July 2.

Trapped In Car After 20-Foot Embankment Crash
Two New Oxford R 1 residents, both in their seventies, were injured when their car ran off the New Chester New Oxford road and plunged 20 feet. Series of burglaries in area solved say officials
State police report that an alleged pair from New Oxford area have confessed to about ten burglaries in Adams County and nearby towns. Sheldon E. Klinefelter 18 and a 17 year old juvenile were arrested in Westminster after breaking into a service station. They carried a burglary kit and admitted involvement in multiple incidents.
