Bendersville School Merger Gains Adams County Approval
The Adams County Board of School Directors approved a merger of Bendersville, Menallen township, and part of Tyrone township districts and endorsed state action. They also granted leaves of absence to county officials, reviewed Mt. Pleasant petition to affect Conewago and Kilpatrick, and planned a boundary survey to divide Tyrone township. The move paves a future new school in Bendersville and sets steps to seek voter input.
