Digest of Amer. Laws added to county library
The American Digest system, a required part of a complete law library, was added to the Adams county law library. The newly acquired volumes were placed Thursday after rearranging shelf space in the second floor library of the courthouse. The digest contains 411 decisions from 1848 to 1936 and includes the first, second and third decennial digests. The addition, welcomed by the court and county bar association, was funded by bar members turning law library funds from commissions as auditors or masters in divorce cases, with court rules setting the share for county attorneys.
