Laus plan Bicentennial exhibit in historic East Berlin house
The Laus decide not to demolish the 1700s log house and will furnish it with period pieces made in East Berlin. A mid 19th century rocker owned by Nell and Erwin Nell will join a 1842 period item, a 1862 wood burning stove, a ten plate stove from Beaver Creek Foundry, and a 70 year old table with a dry sink by Jacob Darone. The brick addition will serve as bicentennial HQ.
