Aubrey Bowers, 23, son of Mr and Mrs Twig Bowers of Littlestown, killed himself Friday night in a Ridgeway hotel room in Camden New Jersey with a revolver. A letter found on him to a Camden girl hints at motive amid presumed despair. Parents notified by Littlestown Chief Tuttro. Bowers had traveled Wednesday to Hanover to claim back pay from a cigar factory. He leaves brothers Alma Ross and Grim at home and sister Essie in Baltimore.

A head on collision near Wampton between Eugene Timmins of McSherrystown on a motorcycle and J P Winand of Hampton in a late place Saturday night left Timmins with a bruised leg and head cuts. Timmins was treated by Dr J A Hudson and returned home to recover as investigators note rutting on the old road as a possible cause.

Boys Leave for the West in Pair from Berlin Junction
Two youths, Paul Hetrick and Paul Kuhn, left for the West from near Diehl's mill and Berlin Junction on Saturday evening.
