Pleads Guilty in Case Involving 12 Year Old
Ralph Bretzman aged 19 of York Springs R D pleaded guilty to a serious charge involving a 12 year old girl. The District Attorney J Francis Yake Jr announced the plea on Monday. Bretzman was arrested Friday and is confined in Adams County jail.

Clock sells for 8468 at sheriff sale in Adams county
A grandfather clock made by William Grove in Hanover in 1834 was sold at public auction in Adams county. Bidding started at 100 dollars and reached 405 dollars, with buyer John Masemore of York. The sale was part of W S Houck estate and arranged amicably by heirs. the walnut and cherry clock has an eight day movement and is over 100 years old.

Butter Point Value Raised to Ten Cents Per Pound
