Four men sent to Eastern Penitentiary for larceny
Four Adairs county residents Ralph Myers Paul Hartlaub William Jago and Carl Bechtel were sentenced by Judge McPherson to one to three years in the Eastern Penitentiary Philadelphia for multiple larceny counts including chickens grain and automobile tires. Each count carried terms from one to two years with fines, sentences to run concurrently as specified, and start after minimum terms. The group faced charges on four separate thefts from farms in Union Township and nearby properties.
