Fire damages basement ceiling and kitchen in Dover home
Fire caused damage to the basement ceiling and kitchen floor at the home of Mrs. Edith Anthony Dover R 2 near Davidsburg last Thursday afternoon. Fire Chief Daniel Hollerbush said defective controls in the heating plant may have started the blaze. Firemen, hampered by strong winds and subfreezing cold, confined flames to the basement area and stayed about an hour. The property is reportedly owned by Claude May.
