Auto Hits Freight Train At Hanover Crossing
A sedan owned by Charles Swope of Abbottstown was badly damaged at 11 p.m. Friday when Swope's car struck a slowly moving freight train on the W. M. R. tracks at Broadway crossing in Hanover. The front bumper bent, fenders damaged, and the rear end wedged against the train. emergency crews moved the car and no injuries were reported.
