The Annie M. Warner Hospital building fund reaches 328366 with 112931 cash and 191934 pledges. Verbal pledges total 235000 and, if collected, bring the total near the 350000 goal, with audits to start February 20 and continued efforts urged.
The Mount Pleasant and Latimore Township boards announce budgets for 1967 and invite public inspection. Sealed bids are sought for crushed stone and bituminous material for road work with contracts to a 50 percent bond and bid openings in February and March 1967.
The state Liquor Control Board reported Adams County two stores sold 632000 plus in 1965, up from 1964 totals by more than 29567.54. Littlestown store posted 74702.67 in 1965 with major retail and licensee sales, while Geityvavurg store made 507327.44 in total.

Pennsylvania liquor sales totaled $367,506,648, up $18,893,254 from 1965. The report by Abraham D. Cohn, chairman of the Liquor Control Board, credits the 15 percent emergency tax and a 5 percent education tax, noting 1965 taxes on liquor were $60,094,693.

Martha J. Eshelman of East Berlin was named to Kutztown State College’s dean's list for the first semester of 1958-57. She is among 207 students from 21 counties in Pennsylvania honored this year.
