Fire damages home at Five Points in York Springs
Five Points near Heidlersburg and Hampton saw a blaze Monday night, damaging a log house with an estimated loss between 7500 and 8000 dollars. Chief Paul Wolf said the fire started in a chimney and spread into partitions. Hampton and Biglerville crews helped, five trucks battled the flames as neighbors watched the stove and the home’s insulation had been removed.
