Zenzer, a WWII veteran and Pennsylvania VFW commander, spoke on veterans service aims while officials from multiple districts attended. Eight youths charged in Hanover wild party morals case
Eleven young men were detained after a Hanover party described as wild. Eight men aged 18 to 20 were arrested on charges of corrupting the morals of minors with bail set at 500 to 1000 dollars. Three additional arrests occurred Sunday with similar bail terms and upcoming hearings next week.

Snow and icy roads triggered multiple crashes on Adams County highways Tuesday. Catherine Albon, 39, of Willow Dale Ontario, collided head on with a Phillips 66 tank truck near New Oxford after her car lost control while passing a disabled vehicle. Damages: car $1400, tractor-trailer $650, Bous car $200. In a separate incident near Heidersburg Philippe LeDuc 62 Granby City Quebec stopped for traffic and Richard Stimpfel 32 Rockville Center NY rear ended LeDuc’s Thunderbird causing $25 damage to LeDuc and $400 to the station wagon. A three car crash 2.2 miles north of New Oxford on legislative route 01004 began when one car stopped on a hill, Brillhart 49 Dover R3 pulled onto the bridge, Wallen 21 New Oxford R2 slowed, Hale 21 New Oxford R1 following could not stop and struck Brillhart and Wallen. total damage $100.
